At 33 Threadneedle Street, on the outer shopping arcade of The Royal Exchange (Grade I Listed Building), the project for the first permanent shop of the Bamford Grooming Department was developed with great care not to remove the traces of the shop previous incarnation as a tobacconist, which had lasted more than a century.
The project team designed a set of bespoke joinery piece to make the best of small foot print and take advantage of the very tall ceilings.
Adjustable and illuminated shelving have been used to both set off the products and allow endless flexibility.
